Dock Gone will keep the Mac OS X Dock out of your way so that it doesn’t interrupt your work.
While you can always hide the Dock, it will reappear whenever you mouse over the edge of the screen, blocking whatever is below the cursor. And you can be sure it will happen at the worst time. Dock Gone prevents this by moving the Dock completely out of your way, effectively turning it off until you ask for it back.
New in this version:
There was an issue where Dock settings could be lost the first time Dock Gone was used to turn the Dock off. This has been fixed.
New icon and preference pane layout
Dock Gone now uses a segmented control to toggle the Dock on and off
Dock Gone is now fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.
