1. You can just install the game from the repositories or package sources depending on your distribution, as BASS is now freeware and most distributions include it with a link to ScummVM prepackaged.
2. If you insist on using the CD (perhaps to install another language, or if the package is not available), the game works beautifully using the Linux version of ScummVM.
3. You can also use DOSBox under Linux. That works well too, although one of the above is more highly recommended.
