Simply insert the cd/dvd from your Ubunto distro, and launch the LiveCD...then just lick install and follow the easy steps.
If your PC gets stuck on the partitioning section, close the installer and partition it yourself, with Gparted.

Version is 6.06.1 Dapper Drake

Minor problems:
-Can suspend, but screen stays black after hitting a random key;
-A couple of graphical bugs, mostly on 3D buttons
