I managed to make this motherboard work with kernel 2.6.16 on Gentoo.

main problems are :
you need to unplug you computer FROM THE WALL not only switch it off to have the ethernet working if you booted XP before.

sound is working (I can use XMMS to listen to my MP3s) but not all applications are happy with it. May be I didn't use the right modules, or maybe it will be solved in the next ALSA/Kernel version.

graphics chipset is working, glxgears runs at 1450 fps.

sata seems to be working but I don't have sata disks.
