The drivers are too old on the Ubuntu distribs, and you must be able to install a proprietary driver (through the command line, after stopping the graphical environment) if you don't want to kill your eyes with a bad refresh rate.
And the first moments are very disturbing, with 800 x 600 display, and menus outside the visible area!
So it's "working", possible, but for developers only!
