Ubuntu Feisty Fawn live CD will not boot properly. Gets past splash screen and screen goes blank. Does not even work in "safe graphics" mode.

Under Ubuntu 8.04 64 bit

Everything works except the modem which is software based. Installing the drivers resulted in the sound not working.

Works fine running Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 with the exception of the internal wireless card. Had to use a Belkin F5D7050 usb for wireless, which worked out of the box, plug and play.
