There is a x64 driver avaliable. You need to email tech support and ask for it. I have been using it since feb and it is 100% stable. Only downside is that it is unsigned so you need to disable driver signing everything you boot up.

This product don't work with Windows Vista 64 Bit, promise support replys that no driver is available or will be developed for this product.

I could not get Vista SP1 32bit to boot with a hard drive attached to the Ultra 100 TX2 controller. As soon as operating system starts to load it hangs with a black screen. I've tied the Windows XP driver, Windows 2003 driver, and finally the rather hidden Windows Vista driver (it is packaged with the Ultra 133 TX2 drivers on the Promise site.) Vista boots fine if no drives are attached to the controller.
The device works in Windows XP with hard drives attached to it, but I found didn't really work at all with my DVD burner.

OK, here is a solution the the Ultra 100 Vista 64-Bit Driver problem. Here is the link to the Driver that you need........

When you open the rar, look in the AMD64 folder and that is the driver you need. I installed it myself and i am having no problems.

I am getting an error on boot when the computer is trying to recognize the controller cards. The error is "Ultra 100tx2 BIOS is not installed because there are no drives attached".
My Specs are: Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2. Two ultra 100tx2 installed on an Asus Proactive AI series A8N-SLI deluxe mobo. I have the hard drives installed to both controller cards. I have done bios flash, and updated the drivers to several different versions to try to make them see the hard drives. My bios version for the ultra cards is 2.20.0.15. In the device manager i can see the cards and they have drivers updated, but in the Disk Management it only shows my main drives that are connected to the motherboard ide ports.
