The game itself works well, as long as you don't
a) beat an enemy factions leader
b) click on anything in the leaders dojo
c) do anything else that leads to the leaders dojo (like allowing audiences)
If you do one of these, the game will crash to the desktop.
a) makes the game almost unplayable, since no matter what, the enemy leader must not die (b) and c) are easily avoidable). Ever played a game where you couldn't attack the enemy, and if he attacks you, you have to make sure he doesn't lose his leader?
windows XP SP1, no graphic-, audio- or any other setting solved the problem, and no kompatibility mode worked (again no matter what options you set). No patch solved it either, and even deactivating some graphic card abilities (with dxdiag, i thought the game might have a problem with newer graphic cards)didn't change anything except the menu layout during battles.

Shogun used to work for me, but just the other day, I reinstalled it (no problems there) and any time I try to run the game, nothing comes up.
Whenever I do install this game, sometimes it asks for a Serial number, other times it wont.
My computer is this:
Pentium 4 2.8GHz
256MB Ram
128MB Nvidia Geforce graphics
Win XP Service Pack 2 (used to run fine under Service Pack 1)
