This scanner is completely unstable under WINDOWS XP. Sometimes it works (vary rarely) but the most times doesn't.I tried updating the drivers for XP, I run the patch for XP drivers update...but the scanning result is always a BLACK PAGE.

Exactly the same like anonymous wrote. 5% working - 95% black page. So I think i'll garbage it (because when I need to scan something I have to pray to God for success!) It's like lotto.
