The wpn111 with ndiswrapper and wlan-tools works very well with none or WEP encryption. In many cases you need to update your ndiswrapper version.
The implemantation of WPA over ndiswrapper fails with a "wpa doesn't supported by driver" message in the debug output (wpa_supplicant).
madwifi seems to doesn't support this atheros-chip either.
