FireStarter is a burning application written in Cocoa for Mac OS X only allowing you to duplicate all kinds of CDs (even those not recognized by other applications Mac OS X), to burn to VCD and SVCD and access to unique features such as overburning (exceeding the capacity of the media) and access to the CDDB database.

It can also easily burn disk images from PC world ;It manages the files well cue / bin, which are widespread in the Windows world, and it was very hard for burn with other tools. In addition, it can easily erase rewritable media (RW) without having to go through the Disk Utility in Mac OS X.
