The data is synced securely to the fruux cloud, where it's accessible and ready for syncing with your other devices.
Note: fruux updates automatically.
Features:
Easy setup process
Most probably we'll natively support your device or application, so you don't have to download and install anything. We have detailed instructions to help you with the setup.
Import your existing data
Once your device is set up, just import your existing data into the fruux cloud.
You've made the switch!
Your data is now stored securely in the fruux cloud and whenever you make a change it will propagate to all of your devices set up with fruux.
Simple sharing
fruux makes it very easy to share your data. Invite your friends, family and co-workers to any fruux calendar and they'll get it synced right to their devices. You have full control to give them read-only (e.g. for the gigs of your rock-band) or read-write access (e.g. for a shared calendar with your loved ones). We plan on adding even more sharing options in the future. Stay tuned!
fruux is standards compliant
We've built fruux from the ground up on open source software, and open standards. This provides for high interoperability and guarantees that your data is always accessible. Right now we're supporting CardDAV and CalDAV, but we plan to add additional protocols in the future.
fruux is highly reliable
The fruux cloud is powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS delivers a highly scalable infrastructure platform with high availability & reliability and is dedicated to security. Check the AWS Security and Compliance Center for details about their security certifications, independent attestations as well as operational and physical security. fruux uses AWS services in data centers around the world to provide good quality of service and high uptime. For details about our utilization of the AWS infrastructure, check the AWS case study about fruux.
We protect your data
All your personal data is transfered using HTTPS. This means that your data is always encrypted. Furthermore, we strive to implement the latest security practices such as the Content Security Policy. Making sure your data is secure outweighs creating new functionality.
We're serious about privacy
We're based in Germany, which is known for having one of the most rigid data protection laws. We believe in these laws, and stick to them. Without your consent we won't give a third party access to your data. Check our Privacy policy for details. Our infrastructure partner AWS participates in the Safe Harbor program developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Union and has certified, that it adheres to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles agreed upon by the U.S. and the European Union.
