JES Movie Tools creates new movies from existing ones via technical analysis. This is a collection of tools most of which had been lying around on my hard disk for years. Some of them are a bit weird, others potentially useful for technical purposes. Some tools create movies that may have some artistic value.

• Diff movies with enhancement options (for example, compare compressed versions of a movie)
• Make edge movie (spatial diff) or temporal diff movie.
• View chroma as luma in various ways
• Swap time and a space dimension, creating weird and intriguing movies
• Motion movie (view speed as brightness and direction as color)
• Recover all media from an edited track
