Laserlight presents a window to type in your Spotlight search string and then puts that string directly into the Spotlight search field, bypassing the slow, as-you-type search method normally employed. Optionally you can search on keywords/names only instead of all content, and may restrict the search by file type and/or date. Laserlight is faster, better Spotlight.
