Thumb Sites is a useful Safari extension that allows you to quickly create thumbnails for your favorite websites. Thumb Sites extension is a great way to quickly access the websites you use frequently.

While I like Safari – its speed, its features like AutoFill, its looks – I did not like Top Sites that much. Yes, I admit it looks gorgeous. The problem is that Top Sites always shows the thumbnails of sites it contains. When I selected small thumbnails size – to have more than 12 sites available in medium size – the thumbnails were nearly indistinguishable. I was using Google Chrome on Windows and Linux before, and it has this nice Speed Dial extension, which allowed me to set any image in place of the thumbnail of a page. So I thought to give it a try and to create something similar for Safari.
