Unlike other computer DVD Players, Trans Lucy gives you the ability to play a movie as a translucent layer over your work, allowing you to click and type through the movie as if it weren’t really there. Trans Lucy provides you with the ability to multi-task on your computer taking DVD watching to a whole new level.

Using Trans Lucy is easy. In fact, much of the Trans Lucy’s controller interface is similar to that of a home DVD player. You can use the Controller to adjust things like playback, size, display level and opacity level. An Opacity dial controls how see-through or translucent the video display is. Customizable Hot Keys allow you to quickly play & pause, move back & forward, change the video size and adjust the opacity. Trans Lucy even provides you with an optional “Quick hide/Boss is Coming” hot key, for those instances when you need to hide the movie quickly.

With Trans Lucy, you control how you want to watch your DVD – in normal playback mode or translucently, so you can see and work with your documents “behind-the-scenes.” With unique viewing options, customizable Hot Key controls and an easy-to-use interface, once you’ve tried Trans Lucy, you won’t want to watch a movie without it.

Trans Lucy lets you watch all kinds of media: DVDs (including DVD Archives/VIDEO_TS folders), QuickTime movies (files or streams), or plug in a video camera or other video source.
Trans Lucy also lets you catalog your media so you can quickly switch from one video to the next.

Working Hard or Hardly Working:
Trans Lucy is a multi-tasker’s dream come true. While you are grinding away on your sales report you can still use Trans Lucy without touching your mouse. Trans Lucy’s hot keys provide control of video playback so you don’t have to switch to Trans Lucy. It even includes a Quick Hide/Boss Coming hot key when you need to get Trans Lucy out of the way quickly.

All Play & No Work?:
Sure, with Trans Lucy you can watch the newest DVD release, but you can also use Trans Lucy for serious work. Trans Lucy’s Video In feature lets you monitor events with remote cameras or even use Trans Lucy for security purposes. And Trans Lucy can support as many cameras as you have hooked up to your computer.

Limitations: Trans Lucy's demo has no 30 day time-out, but it will play for only 20 minutes at a time.
