VolumeWorks is an extremely powerful OS X software application that enables you to resize and manage the partitions (volumes) on the hard drives on your Mac without erasing them.

In just a few clicks, VolumeWorks will resize your partition to the size of your choice. VolumeWorks will even defragment the disk if necessary to allow for shrinking. You can use VolumeWorks to create and delete partitions, with many custom icons that can be automatically applied to your newly created partition. VolumeWorks can hide partitions from users as well. It also has the ability to shift a partition on the hard drive in addition to reconstructing partition maps.

VolumeWorks is designed to allow you to:
• Rebuild a partition table,
• Add partitions to a device,
• Hide partitions,
• Shift partitions, and
• Resize partitions.

Author's Note: VolumeWorks is not intended for resizing Bootcamp partitions. The use of VolumeWorks will retain all the files but will render the Windows partition unbootable (The OS X partition is not effected). Devices must be partitioned with GPT partitioning (the new standard on intel Macs) or with PDisk partitioning (traditional Mac format) to work with VolumeWorks
