Installer package for GNU Wget, the free software package for retrieving files using HTTP, HTTPS and FTP, the most widely-used Internet protocols. It is a non-interactive commandline tool, so it may easily be called from scripts, cron jobs, terminals without X-Windows support, etc. GNU Wget has many features to make retrieving large files or mirroring entire web or FTP sites easy.

This software is released under the GNU General Public License (version 3), and I have bundled it into a Mac OS X installer package.

Note: This is a command-line program and will require some familiarity with Terminal.app. This distribution of Wget 1.12 now includes a shell script, written by me and placed at /usr/share/wget/uninstall-wget.pl, to optionally uninstall the program should you decide to do so at any point.
