Synchronize! Pro X is a professional-strength file synchronization and backup utility for Mac OS X.

Bootable OS X backups - Synchronize! Pro X backs up your OS X startup disk to another hard disk, so that the backup disk is bootable. Make a copy of your system so that you can start up any Macintosh from the backup, or move your current OS X system from one computer to another - even to a different model Macintosh.

Quickly update your backup - Subsequent backups copy only the files that have changed, instead of copying all your files over again, so that updating the backup is much faster.

Schedule your backup - Run your backup automatically at a convenient time, when you're not using your computer.

What's the difference between this and the Plus version? Synchronize! X Plus is intended for synchronizing and backing up personal data on Mac OS X. Synchronize! Pro X is for backing up an entire Mac OS X system, so that the backup is bootable. Synchronize! Pro X has a number of additional features. Here is a feature comparison.

This software requires a current license or a one-week demo serial number.

New in this version:
This update is free for anyone with a license purchased within the last two years; otherwise, a license renewal must be purchased.
This version is compatible with Snow Leopard.
Added a warning when older files will replace newer files. This can be turned off on the "Warnings" page of the Preferences.
Added a setting "Check for available space before copying a file" to the "File Errors" page of the Preferences.
Added the ability to turn off warnings when "Fast Scan" is enabled. When "Fast Scan" is enabled, the folder scan covers only those folders which contain files which have changed, so the warnings apply only to that subset of files. This makes the warnings less useful.
Fixed a problem which could result in an error when copying a locked package.
Fixed a problem with "Open Recent" which could show multiple entries for a single setup document.
