This software is for stop motion but it could also be used with other traditional animation. It captures frames from a digital still camera.
AnimAide's transparent view is designed to allow one to use other remote capture software simultaneously behind it. (Preferably with a live feed). This software does not interface with video and is intended for high definition output. It supports JPEG and TIFF images. If you are intent on using video, you could still use AnimAide along with other video capture software as a reference. Just point the project directory to the place where the video image files are being stored on the hard drive.
