Yasu is a utility that allows system administrators, as well as standard users, to conveniently run various system level Unix shell scripts in order to perform maintenance routines and clear the many cache files used by OS X. Yasu was designed to be a simple, first line of attack for a workstation that has started “acting up.” More often than not, a thorough purge of the cache files of a Mac will bring its behavior back into line.
New in this version;
A minor update to Yasu has been released as version 2.6.1, which addresses a very minor bug introduced in the “Clear system logs” routine. This only affected Tiger (10.4.x) systems.
