FootTrack is an application for MacOS X that allows you to import, catalog and search your digital video tapes. You can also compress your footage so you can keep many tapes permanently on your hard drive for easy viewing or planning when you are making a new movie.

Features:
-Compresses your footage so you can keep your video on your hard drive for easy viewing
-Burn your catalog onto CD/DVD.
-Catalog, organize and group your footage
-Easy to use interface familiar to iPhoto and iMovie users
-Search your clips with ease to find what you are looking for
-Reads the date recorded and timecode information from the DV footage

New in this version:
-German localization has been updated. Thanks to Fiver Löcker!
-Improved the FCP XML export such that the in/out points more closely match the clip in FootTrack's catalog. There were also cases where the duration could be completely wrong.
-When you export via a batch capture list all clip names are now unique. Each clip that has
the same name as another will have a number appended in order to make it unique.
-Fixed a bug where splitting a clip in a group did not add the newly split clip to that group.. the clip was only added to the tape itself.
-Other minor bug fixes
