mp3Player is an audio player that -despite its name- supports playback not only of mp3 audio-files, but of most QuickTime Audio files. As such, it does NOT play Video files, nor does it convert non-QuickTime Audio files.

You may have a CD (or a folder) containing .mp3 audio-files grouped into various sub-folders: in such case (common for those still using old PCs which do not support iTunes and the like) you may be forced to select and playback only a song at a time. mp3Player solves this problem listing all the songs and playing them one after the other.

Apart from the usual comands such as Play, Stop, Volume etc, it offers the option to playback music in a three-dimensional way.

mp3Player supports drag&drop; therefore you may drag and drop audio-CDs and/or folders containing audio-files onto mp3Player’s main window or onto mp3Player’s icon.

It may happen that an Audio-CD contains pictures (usually Albums’ cover-pictures). Should you like to watch them during playback, check the Show pictures box. This means that you too, in a folder containing audio-files, may add picture-files. In order to be displayed, pictures files must bear one of the following extension: .jpg,.gif, .png or .bnp (movies too are elegible to be shown, although their sound-track, if any, will not be played. Movies must bear the extension .mov).

Eventually, the Favorites Menu allows you to customize files and folders for a quick access to your favorite songs.
