When you begin a Spotlight search, Google Importer will instantly grab the top results from Google and show them right next to the files from your computer.
Search for Yosemite in spotlight and, next to your gorgeous photos you took there, you will find the Yosemite National Park official website, along with enough information and photos to plan a year-long trip there. One click, and the web page opens directly in your default browser.
Can't find what you are looking for in the top results? Google Importer will optionally display an addition link directly to the full Google results page.
New in this version:
- Spotlight will now correctly display characters in any language
- Fixed a problem where Google Importer could create conflicts with some applications
- Fixed a problem where Spotlight could crash if there were too many searches at once
- If the site search feature is enabled, clicking the "More results" link will now return results only relating to the specified URL
- Fixed a problem where no google results would appear for very long searches
- Minor performance improvements
